McCOY’s  AQUA GLAZE- AS BEAUTIFUL AS THE CARIBBEAN SEA

The 35th Annual Reunion is all set! The dates are Wednesday July 12th – Saturday July 15th 2023. The Banquet will be Friday evening July 14th at the Bryon Place, where we have had fabulous food, fun, and informative speakers the past several years.

This year’s theme is “McCoy’s Aqua Glaze, as Beautiful as the Caribbean Sea”. Plan to bring several pieces of Aqua glazed McCoy pieces to the Banquet so that our Theme Display table is beautiful!  Dress and décor for the banquet is a Caribbean theme, so plan for Island fun!

Be sure to book your room soon. Our Society headquarters will again be at the Quality Inn located at 500 Monroe Street in Zanesville, Ohio.  The Hotel is holding a block of rooms for Society members which usually fill up fast so make your reservation soon. Be sure to mention you are a member of the McCoy Society Group when making your reservation so that you get our special rate.  Contact the Comfort Inn at 740-454-4144 to make a reservation.

It is with great excitement that the 34th Annual Reunion of the McCoy Pottery Collectors’ Society is planned with an highly anticipated sleight of live activities in Zanesville, Ohio.

Wednesday afternoon July 13th:    Events kick off.

• Afternoon preview of Koehler Live McCoy Auction
• 6:00-8:00pm McCoy Social. Meet and Greet fellow Collectors and Welcome first-time attendees.  Conference Room Quality Inn.  Reunion activities and area events guide distribution.
• Early Room Selling/Buying will commence Wednesday evening at the Headquarters Hotel (Quality Inn).

Thursday July 14th:

• Koehler annual McCoy Pottery Week Live Auction starts at 10:00am. 5255 Heckel Drive, Roseville, Ohio 43777
• Room shopping will continue at Quality Inn (and Pottery Lovers at the Holiday Inn).

Friday July 16th

• 10:00am – approximately 1:00PM: Zanesville Museum of Art Tour and Social Hour for the McCoy Pottery Collectors’ Society.  Special collections of McCoy and Brush-McCoy including display of Brush McCoy donations from George Brush’s daughter.
• Annual Banquet with doors opening at 5:00pm at Bryon’s Place, where we will enjoy their quality food, reputation and accommodations.  Activities include Dinner, social time with fellow collectors, silent auction and educational activities.  Do bring a favorite piece of McCoy or a piece with a special story to display in the annual Show & Tell.  Also bring one or several pieces of yellow glazed McCoy pottery to display in the Reunion Theme Display (McCoy Mellow Yellow)- Volume makes a breath-taking display!  Don’t forget to dress up in 1970’s style clothing- best dressed receives a prize!
