I can barely see the MCCOY marking in the bottom but with certain lighting I made it somewhat visible. I understand it’s a bean pot but what’s up with the Merry Mushroom Pattern? Is this real McCoy and I never knew them to copy patterns?

Thank you for the great question! Your bean pot is indeed authentic McCoy. Many decals and designs were used by multiple companies, and it can make it difficult to discern maker on occasion. The shape of your bean pot, and the mark are 100% McCoy. I would be willing to bet there are other known McCoy shapes out there with that decal. A true challenge to find a good size collection!
