I inherited a brown glaze log (for holding flowers, I assume). It is, of course, in the shape of a log, approx. 7" long and decorated with small chain. On one end, the letters "USA".
It was an elderly aunts and passed on to my mother-in-law and when she died, I got it.

Answer:The small log planter comes in several colors and was made in 1958. You've found the USA on one end, look carefully and see if you can find the small letters spelling McCoy on the other end or the other side.
