I have a McCoy Fish in Net jardiniere in rust. I have seen a couple of these listed on eBay as rare and priced around $200-$300. They don't seem to be selling at that price. Also, I've seen this jardiniere listed as being from the 1930's, but I think it's from the late '50's. So, my questions for you are: It is really rare? What is it really worth? When was it really made ?

Answer:

Yes, this is a rare planter. Made in 1955 it came in a brown spray glaze and also in a green spray glaze. I think it is still valued in the range that you mentioned. Prices do fluctuate with the economy but this is a good item to have.
